Five Minutes (or less) with the Bard - E5

December 03, 2006, 11:36:21 PM by Sterling in Five Minutes (or less) with the Bard.

Edition 5 summary:
In this edition I explore and talk about the four phases of discovery I experienced while participating in the NaNoWriMo contest for the entire month of November, 2006. (Actually it was 17 days. I started late and as you'll learn in the podcast the journey, once taken, made it easy and fun.)

This one is 13:30 minutes in length but I hope it is worth it for you. I know I got a lot out of looking back on November and why I hope every writer (or anyone who even thinks about writing) should try NaNoWriMo at least once. Heck you don't even have to wait until November, try it now.

I promise to have a shorter podcast next time, honest.

Five Minutes (or Seven or so) with the Bard - E4

November 01, 2006, 11:26:21 PM by Sterling in Five Minutes (or less) with the Bard.

So much is going on this month, this edition was a welcome relief and provided some much needed craziness. Hope you enjoy it.

Edition 4 highlights:
A mathmatical word play.
Site updates on the review system.
Some voice acting that is so bad it's good (maybe?). "George Lowe save us, please!"
A special offering to be on Five Minutes (or less) with the Bard.

Six Minutes (or less) with the Bard - E3

October 17, 2006, 02:28:41 AM by Sterling in Five Minutes (or less) with the Bard.

Ok, so it's not Monday, but I started it on Monday. Hopefully that counts for something.

So much was packed into this episode that the title had to be extended by one minute.

A rarely used word of the day.
A special challenge for November. (see news posted below)
And a short preview reading of Sghoul's "The Foreman".

So check it out and have a listen. (Notice: There is one "bad" word in the story. I thought of editing it out but didn't really feel like rewriting someone else's stuff. It's only one word and was used appropriately so... Hopefully no one will get upset.)
