"Where writers go to be read.
Where readers go to be inspired."
What is New Bards' Press?

New Bards' Press is an idea - a beautiful, amazing idea.
An idea of power and freedom for writers.
An idea of inspiration and relief for readers.
An idea brought on by too many rejections, too many let downs and most importantly too much false praise.

New Bards' Press is an online writing community for those who love to write and those who love to read.

It's for people who write what isn't "popular at the moment" as dictated by large publishing houses. People who write well and want their stories to be read! People who want honest constructive critiques of their prose so they can improve and learn in a peer to peer/fan environment rather than a peer to business environment.

What's the point of pouring out your ideas and stories if they simply sit on your hard drive or in a filing cabinet? What's the point at all? You write because you want to be read and you want to improve. Readers come to read your stories, offer their feedback and enjoy your efforts.

New Bards' Press provides that space for the amateur to professional writer and the hungry reader who just can't get enough fresh and unique content in the traditional mediums.

The great thing about traditions is they work and eventually out of those successes new traditions are created. We will create that new tradition on this site and with your support and creative talents we can make this powerful idea happen for everyone - to be read, to be enjoyed, to be appreciated.

Thank you,
Malcolm Sterling
